Artist's thoughts
My focus, my vision from the start has been that my art would be simplistic in thought and forms, yet deep. My purpose would be primarily & most importantly spread joy, peace and spirituality through my art. There is a serenity that pervades the inter-relationships and dialogues of my compositions, as the figures look inwards rather than outward. The figuration overlapped with neutral elements and geometric shapes that have symbolic connotations emphasize my spiritual inspirations.
Thoughts are an intangible mesh of elements and are infinite. They cross and transcend each other. The floating figures are symbolic of the numerous thoughts within me, as a person in themselves. They are a journey in themselves and are carriers of our existence. So I visualize as floating and travelling the infinite space and universe, created by my maker.
We as beings are interconnected. I believe, one should hold onto the greatest and the purest of thoughts; which initiate and influence our words and actions, and purify our soul through the good Karma. The good Karma acts as your vehicle of enlightenment. It is symbolic of the boat/tree in my 'Believing' series of works, which also stands as the connection to everything around us, and spirituality, wisdom, knowledge, strength & positivity. This helps me to flow and blossom within while I also spread the seeds of love and goodness around... It is also nature's way of renewing and blossoming itself, again and again.
